How poor indian Rich peoples are
Last night i was out with friends for hangout . We were roaming in city's best area . We den stopped car near a juicebar and ordered juice . We were waiting for juice in the meanwhile a kid came near to us on old bad looking bicycle . he was not well dressed to .He stopped his cycle near us and ask us to purchase Agarbatti. We just said wat we will do with agarbatti . He
replied he has to pay his school fee so please buy it .ok it was around rs. 10 (25 cents) and upon asking how much he will make he replied he will make rs. 2(5 cents) profit on it .ok wat a big deal we said we will buy np . den we just started kidding with him . One of my friend asked him , hey dude you should be making lot of money na . its a posh area who will deny to buyagarbatti .everyone will buy it and you should make a lot from it .he (kid) started looking at my friend's face with little wonder . We just asked what happened . He replied i tell everyone that i need to pay my school fee so please buy agarbatti from me but peoples rearly buy it .
and upon asking how much money he makes per month . He said he work 3-4 hours per day and hardly makes rs. 100-200 per month . he just makes money to pay his school fee, after working so hard (yes its right he makes rs. 200 per month or rs. 6 per day (15 cents)).We were little wondering (infact wondering a lot),but we did not believe that kid , thought he might be lying . We offered him glass of juice ,and then thought he might be selling stuff to poor peoples . We asked him to go to everyone with car and tell them you need to pay school fee and they will most probably buy it from you ..Ok a car stopped near juice bar . We were watching at it , the
kid gone near the car and told the family sitting in car . he need to pay school fee can they please buy agarbatti from him in just rs. 10(25 cents) . Just guess wat the family inside the car told that kid ... They just told the kid go away stupid ask your father to pay your school fee..Then another car stopped , he repeated process , and he also did not buy we were watching all this , he requested atleast 10 peoples with big cars to purchase from him . But all of them denied ...(yes
peoples who own cars who were drinking juice of rs. 50 and probably all of them were millionnaires did not have money to buy
agarbatti worth rs. 10).Thats the 100% true incident happened in amritsar .now i would like to ask a question ?
1.Does the so called rich persons have gurantee that they will stay rich forever ? wat if they lost there money and there kids haveto work like this ?Are not we humans ?Is not our moral duty to help someone who need it (specially little kids)
2.I would like to ask from school , cant they pardon fee(not charge them ) of poor kids . ? will it really affect them if they discount fee of 5-10% percent kids who are really financially week
3.I would like to ask the govt . why cant govt. schools have that scale of education as private schools have ? A govt teacher earns like rs. 10000 per month and private teacher earns rs. 1000 . But scale of education in govt schools is still much more worse than
private school (however they want high school fee). Damm we have govt hospitals but doctors of hospitals prefer to work in private clinics we have govt schools but teachers prefer to teach in private tutions drawing salary and causing burden on govt funds ????Cant govt manage this country in a better way .Cant govt ensure that everyone do his/her duty .
ok i am confident about career of that kid. Anyone who works so hard just to keep his education continued will defenately be
very successful in future . He will be star of future .and he will do much better in education and life than kids of those so called rich peoples who spend thousands of ruppes just on tutions .So these peoples who said " no " to purchase his agarbatti should just think once again that if they did right by saying "no" ?

I don't know Sir, I think what "stops" the well-off ppl to avoid sharing a liitle of their earned money is that maybe, they are being taken for a ride and that usually the case is too...

Also, are others just as considerate to us?...not always.

It is unfortunate, but yes, I have seen ppl (like the one selling agarbatti) genuinely happy.

I think that if, we, as a country are able to achieve food to eat and water to drink for every living being, it would be sth...

    Well Ankur,

The problem as well might be number of imposters selling different things while pretending to be under distress. Every time somebody comes to me and tell me to buy something because I want to do XXXX, I am in a dilemma. If I dont buy, and the guy turns out to be truthful, I will be doing injustice. But if the guy is just an imposter and wants to sell by telling lies, I will be aiding a criminal who might do bigger things when he grows up.

There is no solution.. atleast I dint find one.. And I continue to suffer everytime somebody approaches me for help.
